Lip Tars

Last year I worked with a great team to create some lip shots for my portfolio. With photographer Tamara Peel, assistant Sarah Palmer and Model Faybi Samuda we created the photo below.

I'm always getting asked how I created these lips, so thought I would blog about them. It was with the help of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's Lips tar's, they are an amazing product that I got for my kit a few years ago at IMAT's in the UK. I decided to buy red, yellow, blue, white and black so I could make any lip colour possible. They also sell very wearable range of colours for those of you who aren't up for mixing your own colours. They wear really well on the lips too.

You can buy OCC lip tar's from http://www.cocktailcosmetics.co.uk/ in the UK.

The wedding was at Warrick House in Lemmington Spa, gorgeous place for a wedding. There were some amazing people involved in creating Kate's ideas and making them into reality for her big day.
The wedding photo's are to follow soon but check out this amazing trailer of her wedding day filmed by Studio 1208 lovely husband and wife run company, that produce outstanding work!

Sunbeam

I love Benefit products and always have a place in my kit for them. I'm really excited to see there launch of Sunbeam Highlighter. I have used highbeam and moonbeam for years on there own on the cheek bone and mixed with foundation to create a glow.

What benefit say about the product 'This golden bronze highlighter gives you a natural, sunkissed radiance. Dot & blend over makeup on to cheek & brow bones for a bronzed glow that complements all skintones. It’s liquid sunshine in a bottle!'

Other products I love from Benefit include the lip and cheek stains. I use them on the lips for Bridal make-up as they last ages and give just the right amount of colour, with a slick of gloss over the top they look great. My favourite is the newest tint Cha Cha Tint which is a lovely coral red.

You should also check out Benefit's Boxed powers. I love using them in my kit. My favourite has always been Dallas, Its a cross between a blusher and a bronzer, Its amazing.

I heart OPI

I love this brand. They never fail to create amazing polishes in great finishes and colours. I have used OPI for around 5 years after having some acrylic false nails removed my nails were in a state. I was recommended to use OPI nail envy and avoplex oil together to strengthen my nails and after a week the polish had already started to work, my nails were growing like never before.

I recently rediscovered this product after noticing my nails had gone weak I wanted to improve them and after a few days of using the nail envy and oil my nails were already improving.
The nails vanish is clear and there is also a matte version for men or people who don't like shiny nails. For the first application you apply two coats then a coat every other day, when your nails have improved this product can also be applied under coloured vanish to help protect the nails.

Some of my favourite OPI polishes

I recently worked with OPI trainer Khadine Coleman on a Photoshoot. Khardine has worked with the likes of Jessie J and has been recently working on the new Bond film. She amazing at what she does. Below is a photo from the shoot, she created on trend pointy grey nails with a black tip, the polishes were from the OPI  Touring America collection.
